  • Raw Material Selection: Leaves of Gymnema sylvestre are sourced from authenticated suppliers or farms where the plant is cultivated organically. The leaves are known for their gymnemic acids, which are the main active components.
  • Cleaning and Preparation: Collected leaves are thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, dust, and foreign particles. Only mature, healthy leaves are selected for extraction to ensure high active compound content.
  • Drying: The leaves are shade-dried at a controlled temperature to retain essential phytochemicals. Overheating is avoided to preserve the gymnemic acid content.
  • Grinding / Pulverization: The dried leaves are ground into fine powder to increase the surface area for effective extraction.
  • Extraction Process: Hydro-alcoholic extraction (water and ethanol mixture) is carried out in stainless steel extractors under controlled temperature and agitation. This method helps in extracting the maximum amount of gymnemic acids and other beneficial compounds.
