Description

A Jasmine Grandiflorum Flower & Buds Oils Distillation Plant is a specialized facility designed to extract aromatic compounds from the flowers and buds of Jasminum grandiflorum, commonly known as Jasmine Grandiflorum. However, it is important to note that true jasmine essential oil is extremely rare, as the traditional and most common method of extraction is not steam distillation but solvent extraction, producing what is called "jasmine absolute". This is because jasmine flowers are delicate and their aromatic compounds are thermally unstable, making solvent extraction (using hexane and ethanol) the industry standard for capturing their fragrance.In rare cases, hydro-distillation (a form of steam distillation) can be used to obtain Jasmine Grandiflorum essential oil, but this method is labor-intensive, yields very little oil, and is mostly practiced by specialist distillers. In this process, freshly picked jasmine flowers are placed in a distillation vessel, and steam or boiling water is used to release the aromatic compounds. The resulting vapor is condensed, and the oil is separated from the water (hydrosol).
